When We Are Closed

If you need to contact a doctor when the surgery is closed you need to call the out of hours service on 111. The 111 service will help you to find the right care to meet your requirements, including the Devon Doctors service. This service can also advise on pharmacy opening times, emergency dental services and emergency family planning services.

For medical emergency situations telephone 999.

Emergency Ambulance Service - If your condition is life threatening you will need to call an ambulance on 999, but remember that the service may be very busy. If you are in any doubt, call 111 who will advise you and call an ambulance if needed.
