Your prescription has a tear off slip with your repeat medicines listed. When you require a further repeat tick the box by the medicine you require and either hand it into the health centre in the box provided inside the main reception entrance or post it to us. Two working days notice is required.

Of course if you prefer, you can order your repeat medication via this website by completing the request form at the bottom of this page.
If you would like the prescription to be posted to you, please provide a stamped addressed envelope.

Requests for prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone, except in an emergency.

Arrangements can be made with the local chemist,  South Brent Pharmacy,  to collect your prescriptions. By using this service you can contact them and ask for them to order your regular medication. You can then collect your medication from the Pharmacy after 3 working days (This allows for delivery and collection of your request to the Health Centre).   

The first time you ask the pharmacist to order medication you will be asked to complete and sign an authorisation form. This will be sent to the surgery to be scanned on to your medical records before being retained at the pharmacy.  No prescriptions will be sent to the Pharmacy without this written consent

The Ivybridge Pharmacy (formerly Peninsula) offers a free collection and delivery service of your prescription.  You will however also need to sign up directly with the pharmacy first.

We also have arrangements in place to forward prescriptions to Boots and Day Lewis Pharmarcies in Ivybridge.  Please inform us if you wish to use any of these services.

At times the doctors may request to see you before issuing a repeat prescription, if this is the case you will be contacted and asked to make an appointment.
