Carers Register
Do you have a responsibility for a relative, friend or neighbour who is disabled, frail or ill? If so, please leave your name and address at reception so that we can add your details to our Carers Register to make sure relevant information is sent to you.

Maternity Services
Maternity services are provided mainly by the midwife and occasionally by the doctors. Once pregnancy has been confirmed (usually by a home test), please contact the surgery where details will be taken to pass onto the midwife. You will be asked to make an early booking appointment to see the midwife in one of her clinics which are held on a weekly basis at the Health Centre.

Thinking of starting a family? The midwife would be happy to discuss “Getting healthy for pregnancy” with you.

Chlamydia Screening for under 25 year old male and female patients.
We offer free and confidential chlamydia testing at the practice.  If you are sexually active and under 25 years old an annual test is recommended - or if you change sexual partner.  The test is easy - you dont need to be examined - just a simple swab or urine test.  If treatment is needed this would be by  antibiotics.  Ask the Practice Nurse or Doctor for details.
