Once the form has been completed and brought in, a telephone consultation with the Practice Nurse will be arranged who will discuss any travel vaccination requirements with you and book the necessary appointment for you to come in.
Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Diphtheria and Polio are all free vaccinations and are kept in stock. Please note if you have had a total of two Hepatitis A vaccinations, this provides 20 years cover.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because some travel vaccinations are not included in the services covered by the NHS.
